The contestants continue to blicker over who is telling the truth and who is not. Guy has pulled the wool over my eyes. Eric has pulled the wool over both of our eyes?
As far as I can determine, both contestants have fully disclosed all beef consumptions when I have asked them to come clean.
Despite the fact that I believe both contestants when they tell me that they have revealled all "secret" log entries, they continue to suspect the other of deception.
So to ensure a clear playfield for the remainder of the competition:
1) All beef logs will be public from now until the end of the competition
2) All beef logs should be entered in a timely fashion (ideally 24 hrs)
In addition, to ensure that neither contestant can benefit from a secret log (if they possessed one) entries back dated prior to December will no longer be accepted.
Posted by guy at December 1, 2004 04:51 PMDoes that mean I can't log in the roast beef sandwich I ate yesterday (Nov 30?)It wasn't secret - I mentioned it to Guy yesterday, even though he grumbled about it (for some inexplicable reason, he questioned my description of it as a roast beef sandwhich because it was derived from a chuck roast - go figure). And it was less than 24 hours ago. So can I?
Posted by: Eric at December 1, 2004 06:22 PMYes, if you log the entry within 24 hours of consumption it will be considered a valid entry
Posted by: Max Abramowitz at December 1, 2004 06:38 PMSince meat eaten prior to december is no longer admissable, Eric, do tell: how much did you fail to declare and therefore waste? it's 138 days between your grillular acquisition and the first of december. That's a lot of beeftime.
Posted by: guy at December 3, 2004 09:59 PMcome to think of it, Max, you should change the "created on" data field to reflect "modified on." I don't want Eric to start upping past numbers with no accountability.
Just planning ahead. To beat a snake, one must think like a snake.
Posted by: guy at December 3, 2004 10:03 PMGuy, your paranoia is frightening. Stick to eating beef - magic mushrooms can be dangerous.
